Right Hon John Denham MP, Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills visits TAP

Staff from The Automation Partnership (TAP) were delighted to welcome and host the Right Hon John Denham MP, Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills on Thursday 11th Sept.

The Secretary of State visited TAP to look at how successful small and medium sized companies pay for their innovation and discuss how the Government can help more. TAP is a particularly interesting case study as Government money has been used to part-fund three recent projects.

John Denham heard presentations from TAP's CEO Dr Andy Morffew and CSO Dr Rosemary Drake on the different phases of TAP's development. He then took the opportunity to visit the impressive TAP workshop and saw a range of cell culture and sample management systems currently in production or under final development, including CompacT SelecT, SelecT and the latest bench top products.
