The Automation Partnership presents on liquid nitrogen refrigeration for ULT sample stores
The Automation Partnership (TAP) is pleased to announce it will be presenting at the forthcoming ISBER conference (18-21 May, Bethesda, USA).
Dr Peter Woods, Sample Management Applications Manager at TAP, will be giving a presentation on "Liquid Nitrogen Refrigeration for Automated Sample Storage at -80°C".
The talk will include details of Polar, TAP's ultra low temperature sample storage system, designed to reliably store invaluable tissue samples and blood-derived fractions. TAP can provide Polar with conventional or liquid nitrogen cooling, but there are significant benefits to the liquid nitrogen approach that led to its use for the UK Biobank project - points to be discussed at the meeting.
