TAP presents new automated tools for stem cell culture and scale up
The Automation Partnership (TAP) will be presenting on new automated tools for stem cell culture and scale up at the forthcoming Stem Cell Research conference (ISSCR) in Philadelphia this month.
Dr Rosemary Drake, Chief Scientific Officer at TAP, will present new robotic technology that overcomes the many challenges of scaling up stem cell culture and will show that human progenitor and embryonic stem cell lines can be maintained reproducibly with minimal operator intervention. The system has an integrated incubator, clean processing area and live cell imaging, and can fully automate cell feeding, seeding, harvesting and counting and maintain and track multiple cultures in parallel.
The presentation takes place on Friday 13 June in the main conference hall.
