The Automation Partnership launches new GMP-validatable system for dispensing into cryovials

The Automation Partnership (TAP) will be launching its latest GMP-validatable product, Fill-It™, at this week's BioProcess International event in Anaheim, CA, USA.

Fill-It is a standalone, bench top product that enables rapid dispensing of cell suspensions and other liquids from bulk stock, as well as the decapping and recapping of screw-cap cryovials. A GMP-validatable version of Fill-It is now available, ideal for a range of cell production strategies, and is supplied with the relevant IQ/OQ documentation.

The GMP Fill-It's design includes a mechanical supervisor key interlock to manage parameters on the system such as speed and volume of dispense. These set-up menus can be disabled so operators can only perform the specified process (e.g. prime, dispense and recap). In addition, collection vessels are designed for standard GMP cleaning regimes and the dispensing nozzles have been certified by the manufacturer as having passed USP Class VI testing of product contact surfaces, and to be animal derived product and pryogen-free.
