The Automation Partnership Appoints New Head of Global Service & Support Division
The Automation Partnership (TAP) is pleased to announce that Michael Desch has joined as Head of Partnership Services, leading its Global Service and Support Division.
Michael will be based out of their Wilmington Office (DE, USA) and will be responsible for a team of almost 40 office and field-based support staff, across the US and Europe.
Michael, an American, is an electrical/electronics engineer by training and has gained extensive experience of software development and support during his career. He states, “I am impressed with the quality and range of service and support packages TAP currently offers and am looking forward to building up their services further”.
TAP currently offers Technical Services, including dedicated UK & US help desks, phone and email support for system operators and engineers, and onsite support from a team of field engineers. In addition, its Professional Services include operator and maintenance training, process improvement and applications support.
Michael joins the company following the retirement of Bill Thomson, who spearheaded the creation and expansion of TAP's customer service and support offerings over a number of years.
