The Automation Partnership launches sixth generation automated cell culture system - Cellmate Mk6
The Automation Partnership (TAP) is pleased to announce the launch of its latest generation Cellmate automated cell culture system - Cellmate Mk6.
Cellmate is a tried and proven technology with over 80 installations worldwide since its introduction, many operating in GMP biologics manufacturing plants. The sixth generation of Cellmate is now available which includes the latest robotics technology and support for current best practice in automated cell culture.
Cellmate automates aseptic processing of adherent cell cultures in roller bottles or T-flasks - enabling immediate scale up of manual cell culture processes and avoiding the need for costly transition into suspension culture in bioreactors and associated equivalence studies. It delivers consistent, reliable and reproducible results, with cell lines and batch volumes easily changed to meet varying demands.
